Inspirational Figure in Her Life: My grandma and mom

Best tip for success to Underclassmen: Believe in yourself, you are capable of anything you set your mind to. Also, it's okay to not have everything in your life figured out; everything will fall into place.

Her Top 5 Contributions to the School and Community:

  • ASB Leadership- Night Time Commissioner
  • Link Crew Leader
  • Camp Counselor for the Mosaic Project
  • Rally Commissioner 2015
  • Special Events coordinator for Puente
What she feels makes a great leader: "A great leader is someone who is genuine, caring, and maintains a positive attitude regardless of the outcomes. A leader gives guidance."

An example of a great leader that she knows: "Mother Teresa and Ghandi because they both contributed so much to humanity. I aspire to their goals of helping others and fighting for a cause in peace. They were the voice for the unspoken."

Something that YVHS does really well: "YV is great at creating a welcoming environment and community among not only the students but teachers and staff as well. There's at least one teacher/staff member that every students can go to for help in anything."

Two ideas to improve things here at YVHS: Make YV a cleaner campus and create more events/activities so every single student has something they can get involved with.

Something she would like to improve about herself: I would like to build up my confidence and not always second guess myself in every decision.

Quote of the Moment: "I hope you live a life you are proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." ~F. Scott Fitzgerald
